Anti-Corrosion

Corrosion doesn´t always begin where it´s easily viewable. That´s why every XK is injected with wax, then placed into a special oven. The melting wax seals tiny crevices throughout the vehicle, helping to prevent corrosion from ever gaining a foothold.

Simulated Testing

Extensive, rigorous testing is performed on test versions of the XK, simulating high-speed (an average of 100 mph) driving for over 100,000 miles. Potential improvements are noted, then implemented into production vehicles.

Four-coat Paint Process

Jaguar´s four-step paint process allows for a deep, rich, long-lasting finish. It begins with an initial primer coat, which is then wet-sanded for a second primer, followed by a base coat, which is sealed for durability with a final clear coat.
